Prior to COVID-19 not many courts and law offices had a plan for how to handle remote hearings. Fortunately, remote hearings provide the courts an efficient way to move through the massive backlog of cases that have accumulated due to varying restrictions. Since the shift, however, one of the biggest pain points is audio quality and the lack of the ability to hear specific phrases in a remote setting. The issue results in low-quality transcriptions and lack of confidence in the process.
