Several features in this release are based on practical feedback from our global operational teams. Many improvements aim to enhance efficiency for existing features, especially for our team in Australia, who manage a large number of small files daily under tight deadlines.
Additionally, we are excited that customers in the US are using the new NetScribe Advanced Formatter, with positive feedback so far. We’ll continue to expand this feature to more customers and gather feedback.
What’s in the Release:
- QA level filter.
- A new QA level filter has been added to the QA dashboard to allow an admin to filter the QA dashboard on the QA level.
- Editor survey per tenant configuration.
- We had received feedback from Operations that forcing the QA personnel to fill out the survey was a waste of time. Therefore, we created a setting with three options for the survey – Show for everyone, show only for typists (no QA), and show for no one.
- We also recognize that there have been requests to customize the questions on the survey – we will have to tackle that in a release down the road, as we have other higher priority items to work on in the meantime.
- Typist Group filter in Court Orders Jobs Queue.
- In order to improve admin efficiency, we put a filter in the Court Orders Jobs Queue to assist with easier identification of files that were assigned to a specific typist group.
- Auto stitching and delivery rule update.
- An update was made to deal with premature delivery of single audio files in progressive jobs.
- Audio/Video waveform in the editor player.
- A waveform has been added to the editor player to enable transcriptionists to more easily recognize dead air spots and improve processing efficiency.
- Download advanced formatter data action for admins.
- A new download AF data action has been added to the workpool area. Admins can export job related data for debugging purposes.
- Job processing update.
- The job reprocessing screen that is used by support and admins can now handle jobs in state 505 (export failed). This job state is used by Australia as they are exporting every job back to their network.
- Additional advanced formatting features.
- As we work through all of the customers’ templates, we need to code in additional elements to ensure that all formatting is covered. In addition, we will be enhancing the advanced formatting features based on feedback as our operations team and more customers are exposed to the formatter.
- Support for .mts video files.
- From time to time we come across file extensions that we have not dealt with before and they have to be added. Please note – there will also be a tweak to the 4.6.3 release of NetScribe Connect to add this to the list in the UI and ensure they will upload to there as well.
- Support for Olympus foot pedal in the editor.
- We have added the Olympus SDK to the foot pedal driver so that someone can use an Olympus foot pedal in the NetScribe editor. Please note – the driver in the editor will need to be redownloaded to work with the Olympus pedal. In addition, if any transcriptionist is having difficulty getting the Infinity pedal to work out of focus from the editor, it would be a good idea to redownload the driver.
- Refactor Typist Job Cost report.
- We received feedback from Operations that the Typist Job Cost report was not always running properly, and some end users were getting an error message. The refactoring removes unnecessary filters, improves the report loading time, and reduces query processor resource usage.
- Video to audio fallback mechanism.
- With this new mechanism, the system will recognize that the file is not able to be processed and will automatically convert it to audio and send it for processing.
