The latest update to NetScribe Connect is rolling out over the coming weeks, bringing critical updates to platform stability and user experience.
A More Resilient Recording Engine The most significant change in this release is under the hood. We have updated the recording architecture to save audio locally in 10-second segments before uploading them to the database.
Previously, a network interruption could put a whole file at risk. Now, should you lose power or internet connectivity, the system isolates the data immediately. The maximum potential loss is limited to just the last 10 seconds of audio, providing a much safer recording environment.
New Features & Usability Updates In addition to stability, we are launching several standalone features designed to smooth out your daily workflow:
- Manual Password Resets: We have removed the friction from lost passwords. Support can now manually reset credentials, dramatically speeding up the resolution time for users having trouble logging in.
- Internal Admin Notes: We have added a dedicated space for Admins to leave notes for one another within the Order Feature. This streamlines communication between departments regarding specific order requirements or context.
- Support Diagnostics: We have improved the tools available to our Support team (Super Admins), allowing them to download original audio from concatenated files to resolve audio issues more quickly.
- New UI Tooltips: You will notice new Tooltips on the Job List to help with filtering files, ensuring you can find the data you need without guesswork.
- Foreign Language Transparency: When placing orders for human foreign language services, the system now displays a prompt clarifying that turnaround times may vary based on the specific language and audio quality provided.
