Upon completion of an extensive review of the current services for recording and transcription of court and tribunal proceedings, DJAG decided to explore innovative ideas and new developments in technology for Queensland’s recording and transcription system. The need to create a new service delivery model to ensure the quality and timeliness of court transcripts in Queensland while providing the best overall value for money was identified.
DJAG selected Spark & Cannon, a VIQ subsidiary, to supply fixed and portable court recording solutions for several hundred rooms across multiple jurisdictions in a complex and decentralized environment in Queensland. The company will conduct a phased implementation of its CapturePro™ Solution Suite, which includes:
- CapturePro, a robust and flexible software solution that captures and manages high-quality, multi-channel recordings of audio and video testimony
- AccessPoint, a collaborative web portal that gives authorized users secure, private access to recorded content
